It's that time again….Time for the annual Charity Birthday Project for Alex. The past years have been very successful and I thank everyone for participating. This year's charity, of course, will be Donate Life and all money will be added to The Alex Band Education Fund for Donate Life. For those of you new to this project, it is a birthday scrapbook of pages designed by each of you and placed in the book. The only stipulation is that you make a donation to Alex's charity through me. This is a project that means a lot to Alex and he told me it is always the best gift he could ever get.
Over the years, through various projects, we have sent over $20,000 to charities in the name of Alex and The Calling. I really appreciate the way everyone participates and I know Alex is so proud of how his fans support the charity he believes in.
This past year has been both exciting and frustrating for Alex as he tries to get his album released. He did manage to do a few tour dates and there are lots more coming up. Let's all show Alex how much we love him and proove that we are still here for him throughout all his frustrations with the music industry, the label, etc. Alex does read every single page of the Birthday Book every year and it really means the world to him. He has told me many, many times that it is his favorite gift and he really looks forward to receiving it. You can watch the video clip he made last year after receiving the book.

I am starting now in order to give everyone all over the world time to get their donations in. You can send them to my home address or send a donation through paypal. Just like the last five years, I will be compiling all the messages and giving Alex a birthday book from everyone who donated to the charity. The book this year is the same size as last year since that is easy to ship. It measures 8 and a half x 11 inches (A standard size sheet of paper). If in doubt on the size make it a bit smaller than you think so none of your message has to be cut off. Since so many of you have pictures with Alex, it's always nice to include that if you can so he can remember all the great people he met. You can email or snail mail your page to me.
