Here is Alex's message to everyone -
Happy Holidays Everyone! I'm so excited for 2009, I know it finally will be the year my long overdue solo album will be released! I wanted to give you all a little treat for the Holiday, so here is one of the many songs that didn't make it on the album called "Best Friends". It's just a home demo, Arms and I wrote it and recorded it together a while back. It's still a favorite of ours, so who knows, maybe it will end up on the second album all done up nicely:) Anyway, lots to look forward to soon enough...I wish you all and your friends and family a Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year! And .... from me - Updates for December are done and the big update is a new song from Alex as our Holiday Gift. It's a song called "Best Friends" and you can find it under "Extras" and then MP3s. Thanks Alex!! I also asked for the lyrics cause I know you guys will want them and you can find them under "INFO" and then Lyrics. I also have added lots of new galleries from the recent Brazil tour. Some are under the General ALEX gallery and some are in the Fan Gallery. I've added a new BLOG section under INFO to have one place where all the Blogs Alex has done in the past few years can be stored and read. Some are from his old site, some are from myspace, alternative addiction and his new site so if you missed any check it out. Two new desktops made by Lu are in the Extra's section. I also added a recent article about Alex and his Donate Life Rocks show that appeared in UNOS Update Magazine. You can find that in the Extras section. I didn't send Alex any questions this month since he was in Brazil for so long and then it was the Holiday. They'll be back next month though :)

December 3, 2008 -* New Message from Alex *
Brazilian fans! I know many of you are confused about the upcoming Brazil tour and show dates and schedules, as am I! Since this tour has been put together at the last minute, many things are up in the air. But here is what I know so far:
I will be arriving into Sao Paulo December 12th at 11:45AM and will leave December 23rd at night. There are already 6 shows confirmed and there will be more dates coming soon. I was originally scheduled to come December 3rd into Rio, but due to Visa delays the travel dates had to be pushed back. Keep checking my myspace site and alexmaxband.com for more show dates. I have gotten many many emails from all of you in cities like Recife and Belo Horizonte, and trust me I am doing my best to try to have shows in those cities as well! I would love to go everywhere in Brazil but there is only so much time! The singer I will be working with there on the duet is named Marjorie Estiano. Arms and I are so excited to come back! November 28, 2008 -Updates for November! I've added the last of my videos from Rodrigo and it's a clip of "Please" from Brazil. You can find it in the Extra's section. I've added a new Gallery to the Fan Gallery section and they are pictures from Heloa taken in Brazil (Santos) on June 21st. There are some new desktops in the extra's section thanks to Lu and I've added two new High Resolution pictures to that same section. They are pictures from last year's show in Richmond and are from Carrie and Emily.
I have a great new video from Rodrigo filmed in Brasilia on July 3rd. It's "Could it Be Any Harder" and it's a great performance of my favorite Calling song! September 28, 2008 -Updates for September! Lots more galleries from the shows Alex has been doing so check those out under Fan Gallery. Under Extra's and then Videos I have two great video clips for you this month. The first one is an amazing recording of Stigmatized from Brazil sent to me by Rodrigo. It is the full concert version with the intro and extra verse...over 8 minutes long! Hopefully you can download it ok..it's really huge! Thanks Rodrigo. I also have the cover Alex has been doing at his acoustic shows of the Smashing Pumpkins song "Disarm". Jeremy filmed a two minute clip at the Hotel Cafe in LA on the 23rd of September. Thanks Jeremy! There are two new High Resolution pics taken by Heloa in Brazil and some great new desktops made by Luisa, Sarah and Mariana. Thanks everyone! August 28, 2008 -Updates for August! I've added a few galleries from Alex's Donate Life Rocks show in Virginia last week. Under My Live Gallery you will find my pictures. Under the ALEX Gallery you will find some of the professional pictures taken at the event by AM Photography and sent by Denise at Donate Life and finally in the Fan Gallery you will find Leslie's pictures.
Under Extra's I have a short video clip of the acoustic performance Alex did at Plan 9 Records. It is the song "Rest of Our Lives" and was filmed by Leslie. (Thanks Rodrigo for making it smaller and tagging it for me). Also under Extra's there are two new High Resolution pictures. The first one is from Mark & Heather and was taken on July 25th in Ontario, Canada. The second one is from Leslie from last week's show. July 28, 2008 -Updates for July! There are lots of galleries still being added all the time. Most recently a new gallery from the Canada shows under Fan Pictures, with more coming this week. Also some more new ones from Brazil. Two new High Resolution pictures in the Extra's section. Since this week is my 7 year anniversay of being an Alex/Calling fan I was feeling nostalgic and put up a picture from 2001. I've also added a new picture from Brazil taken by Chris and Erik. The lyrics have been added for the new song on the Brazil EP - "Here With You I'm Found" and you can find those under either the discography section or the lyrics section under INFO.

June 28, 2008 -Updates for June! Since Alex is on tour in Brazil there are lots of new pictures added to my galleries. You can find some in the General "Alex" gallery and some in the Fan Pictures Gallery. Carol, Giovanna, Lis, and Zah all sent in great pictures from the shows. In addition to the Brazil pictures I have added Shannon's from the Full Moon Road Show in Seattle and Nature's from Indiana. I've also added the new Brazil EP to the discography section as it is slightly different. I'll have the lyrics for the new song for you soon. I've added some new drawings to the Extra's section from all the talented fans we have here.
Two new High Resolution pictures have been added to Extra's, and they were sent to me by Alex. One is the one that was used for poster and promotion in Brazil and one is from the EP cover. Both were taken by Jen. Two new video clips in the Extra's section. One is Alex performing Adrienne at his Dad's show in Seattle from Shannon and one is from Rodrigo and is a short clip of "Never Let You Go" from Brazil on June 24th. I didn't send any questions to Alex this month because he is insanely busy right now! They'll be back next month though so no worries :) That's it for now. June 18, 2008 -Message from Alex!
I'm off to Brazil! It's been waaaaaay too long and I am so excited to be coming back! Thank you all for supporting this tour and helping promote it! I wanted to let you all know that I've made a NEW EP CD that I will be selling at all the Brazil shows (you can also buy it at alexmaxband.com). This new EP has one new song in place of "Coming Home" called "Here With You I'm Found". It's a beautiful acoustic ballad that I think you will all enjoy. And remember all you Brazilian fans, I am going to do my best and stay after each show I play there to sign for everyone who buys an EP. And of course if you already have one just bring it to the show and I will do the same for you:) Also, we will be having a free giveaway of a signed EP and photo with me for one person per show. Just write your email address when you come in and you'll be automatically entered in the drawing! The band and I have prepared a really awesome show for you all with lots of Calling favorites and many new songs...the longest set I have ever played! AND...I am bringing my friend and video director Jethro with me to video the ENTIRE tour. We will also be professionally recording one of the shows with the help of a local production team to create a LIVE DVD! The DVD will have a full live show, interviews, fan participation, crazy backstage footage, life on the road and more! I'm hoping to have it all done and ready for you guys by the Holidays!
Besides getting ready for this Brazilian tour, I have also been working hard to put together my very own record label and figure out all the intricacies involved with releasing my first solo album without the direct help (or hindrance!) of a major label. Everything is coming along great and I'm doing my best to speed up the process as much as I can. I did pass the first major hurdle which took quite some time which has allowed me to now say that I am 100% officially free of Universal Records/Geffen and I OWN my whole album (this was not an easy task!). Many exciting things in the works! I'll be checking in with you all again soon. But for now, I'm off to Brazil for a wild ride! And I will return with the first Tour Diary entry in many years!!! May 4, 2008 - Stealing Music ~ DON'T DO IT!!!
Before I start to mail these EPs out this week I need to remind everyone that stealing music really hurts the artist. Since Alex is now an independent musician every sale is important and if people start illegally sharing his songs, he will be the one who is hurt by it. He and I had a long discussion about this and Alex told me I can quote him on this -
"Please make the fans aware that because I am completely independent now, I rely entirely on my sales...and if I don't sell enough music I can't tour. So with every person that steals a copy of a song, they are making it that much harder for me to ever see them on tour or continue to make music."
It's just wrong and it's no different than physically stealing something from another person.I've actually seen lyrics of Alex's new single posted so obviously it's already started! Please post this message on your Alex sites and message boards. Thanks for understanding everyone.
April 28, 2008 -There has been lots going on this month and I've been adding updates a few times a week so there's not too much to report here. I was lucky enough to catch Alex's show in Maryland on Saturday so I have some great pictures up from the show in My Live Gallery. I also have added two high resolution pictures from the show to the Extra's section. One is from Denise and one is from me. Karin was kind enough to share a short video clip from the show and it is a new song called "What is Love". You can find that under Extra's - Special. I've also updated the Discography section with the new EP and the Brazil single of "Only One". You can find that under Info. Hey guys! I wanted to let you all know that I have been working hard on creating a 5 song EP with all new songs, some of which won’t even be on my upcoming solo album and I’m happy to announce that it’s finished! I will be selling the EP at all the upcoming shows starting next week AND for the time being until I get my new website up and running, you can buy it at www.alexmaxband.com!
This is your first chance in almost 4 years to get your hands on ALL NEW MUSIC! And now that I’m free there will be so much more to come! More music, videos, even a full live concert and crazy tour footage DVD later in the year, and of course the full album which I’m trying my best to have ready before the end of the year.
I will be bringing plenty of these EP’s with me for the Brazil tour in June so all of you down there can get your copy then if you’d like. And just to let you Brazilian fans know, to help promote the tour down there I am releasing a single to radio in Brazil called “Only One” that can be only purchased on my new EP.
On another note, I have to give you all an update regarding my music in the CBS TV show “Moonlight” that airs this coming Friday. In an unfortunately common major label blunder, Interscope refused releasing the rights of my songs to the TV show. I tried my hardest to remedy the situation, but because I am not fully out of my deal yet, my hands are tied and the label made their decision. Obviously I am very upset and frustrated about this, as is the TV show, which had to rush and replace all my music in the episode (the edit I saw was looking great too)….but I guess it’s a perfect example of yet another reason why having my own label is the way to go. But for all you US fans, please do tune in to the show and check it out, there is a strong possibility that they will use my music in future episodes. And don’t forget to tune in to The Real World-Hollywood, I’ll be popping up on a couple of the episodes soon enough.

Here is a new message from Alex. Great news as Alex is now in charge of his own destiny instead of the Label!
Hello everyone!
I know you're all antsy to hear some good news and I finally have some to tell you!
I've been working on leaving my label for a while now, and moving to somewhere else to put this record out finally and give it the push it deserves…and I'm happy to announce that I will be putting the record out ON MY OWN! With help from good friends in the business and an amazing team, I'm putting together my own Label. This gives me the freedom to make my own decisions, to invest in myself, and to do what I want, when I want. This is the way to go these days in the music business and I am sooooooo lucky to be able to do it. There are no firm details as to when exactly the record will be released, but I am doing everything in my power to make the process as speedy as possible. I will let you all know of course as soon as I find out more.
Now on to even better news…I am in the process of booking sporadic shows all over the US starting in April. Most of them will be college dates and private gigs at first, but there are also talks of a tour this summer with a bigger name act and a possible headlining tour later in the year. Also, we are now booking a 3-week Brazilian tour to start the end of this June that will possibly spill over to other countries in South America. As soon as dates have been set I will let all you fans down there know. I'm so excited!
I am sooooo looking forward to getting back out on the road, playing Calling favorites and lots of great new songs as well. I have an awesome new band and we're currently rehearsing to get ready to play for you all. And NOW I will be able to offer you some of my new material at the shows before I even release it worldwide on own my private label!
Lastly, I wanted to tell you to keep your eyes out for a TV show called "Moonlight" on CBS airing April 24th featuring a couple of new songs from my upcoming record. And I will be making an appearance on one or two of the episodes of the new Real World Hollywood season which starts airing April 16th and April 17th on MTV. Check it out!

March 28, 2008 -March Updates. I've added some new banners made by fans, thanks for those! The two High Resolution pics for this month are one old pic and one new pic. I've added one from Carrie from the 2002 tour and one from Steffi from the Richmond show in 2007. Thanks for letting me add those. Sjay from Malaysia sent me some Magazine scans from 2002 and 2004. You can find all these things in the Extra's section. Also added to the Extra's section is an MP3 a fan made for us from the last Calling show in Temecula. February 28, 2008 -Updates are done. Not too much to report but hopefully we will have some news soon. This month I have new avatars and desktops in the Extra's section made by lots of talented fans on my message boards. Thanks everyone for those. Also, two new High Resolution pics in the Extra's section. One from the studio pics Alex sent me last year and one from Jeremy in California from the show back in October. There is one new picture in the rare photos section that I missed during my updates last month. It's from Alex and was taken in Florida over the Christmas Holidays. More fan questions answered by Alex so thank you Alex for that. Keep checking back for news on some tour dates and info soon!
January 28, 2008 -Updates! Things are a little quiet this month just after the Holidays. I like to think of it as the calm before the storm ;) Stay tuned for news soon! I do have some new things for you this month though. I've added Leslie's pictures from Richmond in November and you can find those in the Fan Gallery. I've also added the rest of the Studio pictures I had of Alex. They were used as exclusives in the 2007 Calendar so I wanted to wait for the year to end before adding them. You can find those in the Rare Photo's section. Also in that section are new pictures from Alex taken over the Holidays last month. High Resolution pics can be found in Extra's and this month I've added one taken by Leslie from Alex's show in LA per Lu's request and one of the new Studio pics. December 28, 2007 -Updates for December! Alex sent me the lyrics for the song he gave us for our Holiday gift (All For You) and you can find those under INFO and then Lyrics. I've added Leslie's pictures from the show in LA in October to the Fan Gallery as well as two of her pics in High Resolution to the Extra's section. Since we just got the song and the video last week from Alex I didn't add any new media this month. I also only sent Alex one question since he deserves some time off to enjoy the Holidays as well. Our Street Team is comprised of dedicated fans with a common goal; Promoting Alex Band’s music in an organized and fun manner. Start supporting Alex and join now. Happy Holidays!!!! It’s almost 2008, finally time to release my record! The anticipation is killing me, it’s almost been 3 years now and I’m beyond ready to get back out on the road and see you all. I still don’t know exactly when my record will be coming out next year, but as soon as I find out I will of course let you all know. As usual, for the Holidays, I have given you all a new song (go to alexmaxband.com to download it now!). I’ve probably written and demoed over 100 songs in the last 3 years for this album and clearly not all of them have made the cut to actually being recorded for the album. Some were great, some not as good, but I thought this one that Arms and I wrote and demoed out was a bit different and cool and perfect as a gift. I hope you like it:) I’ve also posted a little video for you all with a personal Holiday message from me. As always, thank you for sticking with me through all these years of waiting…you guys are the best. Just wait till you hear this record! November 27, 2007 -Updates for November! Lots to update this month. If you didn't already notice we changed the look a bit. I wanted to update the site to be more about Alex as he is now and luckily I got some great shots of him at his recent concert in LA. Karin was kind enough to re-design my pages here. Thanks Karin! Ok...on to the updates. Of course all my pictures are up from the last two shows Alex did and they are in my Live Gallery. I'm also adding fan pictures to the Fan Gallery as I get them. I've added a 2007 Gallery of all you fans with Alex at the recent shows and I have added a new gallery from Cheryl of her pictures from Richmond. If you want to share your pictures, just let me know.
I finally got the time to add a bunch of magazine scans people have been sending me. Thanks Kasia, Zora and whoever else sent me scans. They are in the extras section. Also, found the time to add all the great drawings you guys have been doing to the extras section. See what a nice 4 day Thanksgiving weekend can do! November 9, 2007 -If you missed Alex live on Mix 103.7 in Richmond this morning you can download it here. Thanks Agnes for editing and putting it all into one MP3. It is the interviews and two acoustic songs Alex performed live. WYWG and a U2 Cover of "One". Great to hear him on the radio again.
October 29, 2007 - Back from LA! Alex did an amazing job at the Donate Life show in LA. His new songs live sound really great. You can see my pictures from the show under Gallery and then "My Live Pictures". Thanks to Karin we have a short video clip of "What is Love" from the show at the Hard Rock last week. "What Is Love" (right click and select "save target as")or just click to play. My review of the show and my write up from my trip are posted on my message boards. It was an amazing trip, as always :)

We're celebrating the 3rd Birthday of this site a bit early because I will be traveling when the actual birthday happens. To celebrate I am uploading the audio from a full Calling concert from 2004. There are 11 songs so every day from now until I leave for LA you will be able to download a song from a concert in 2004. This recording is from the Radio Station and I am hoping enough time has passed that I am ok sharing it with everyone. It's great quality and if you've never been to a Calling concert you can experience it through these MP3s. It was one of my favorite shows. You can find them under EXTRA's and then MP3's. He also let us know that the song he wrote with Mitch Allan for the movie "The Final Season" is available TODAY on Itunes. September 28, 2007- Updates for September. I have a few updates for you this month. Sorry there is just not too much to update right now, but next month will be full of updates with the concert, new pictures and some little clips from the concert. A sweet girl from Brunei let me put a few of her pictures in my Alex Gallery from a party Alex played there in August. You can find them under Alex and then 2007 General pictures. I have two new High Resolution pictures in the Extra's section and they are from Jenni and were taken during the 2004 tour in Glasgow. Anna made me a beautiful new desktop to add to the extra's section. I've also added the MP3 of Stigmatized from AOL in 2001 because several fans have asked for it. It has the nice extra verse with it. Also more fan questions answered by Alex.
September 22, 2007- Update on Alex's Fall shows. The two shows Alex will be playing this Fall will be Alex with a full band! This won't be the touring band for next year as that hasn't been put together yet. These are going to be great shows so I hope lots of you can make it. Since there are no tickets for the Richmond, VA show, please EMAIL me if you are 100% certain you are going and your name will be added to the list. This is an event for the Richmond Marathon and not a regular concert so there are no tickets for sale.

September 13, 2007 -A release date for the movie "The Final Season" has been posted on their website, www.finalseason.com. The movie will be in theaters on October 12th. Check it out and hear Alex's song "Coming Home" at the end of the film. Also, stay tuned for some updates on where to buy the song and info on press and TV Alex is doing for it.
September 5, 2007 - ** New Message from Alex **
Due to the current state of the music business and how tough it is out there, the powers that be have decided it's best to release my album worldwide during the first quarter of next year. With a little more time, this record can be properly set up with all the money and push possible, not to mention completely perfecting the songs and recordings on the record and maybe even adding some more great ones. You guys are the most important to me and I am going to do everything in my power to continue to keep you in the loop and also give you new music until my record comes out (I'll sneak some stuff for you!). For those of you in the US, I am going to be playing two shows as of now for Donate Life: My concert, 'Alex Band's Donate Life Rocks', here in Los Angeles at the Hard Rock Universal on October 26th featuring many other great artists and Halloween fun. And another show for Donate Life, November 10th in Richmond, Virginia at Toad's Place. Tickets will be available for both shows soon, so I hope to see some of you there. Also, 'The Final Season', the movie I wrote the main song for called 'I'm Coming Home' will be coming out in October in theaters across the US and the song will be available for purchase online. I'll also be doing TV and press to coincide with the movie release. There are lots of other really exciting things in the works and I'm going to of course keep you all updated. I do believe things happen for a reason, and I think this new plan is for the best. I dream about the day when I will be touring the world and playing these new songs for you all. August 28, 2007 -August Updates - I've added a new section to the site under "INFO" called Frequently Asked Questions. Since so many people who are new to Alex's music ask some of the same questions, I thought that would help. I have two new videos this month. The first one is a short clip from 2004 when Alex appeared on a show on SPIKE TV. The second one is an old clip from the end of 2001 from an MTV show called "Banging The Charts". You can find both of these under Extra's. Also in extras are two new High Resolution pictures. This month's pictures are from Karin and one is from NYC in 2002 and the other is from Temecula in June of 2005. Agnes managed to find a few pictures of Alex at the Bratz movie Premiere and you can find those in the Alex Gallery of 2007 pictures.
From Alex I have the "official" lyrics to the movie song "It Doesn't Get Better Than This" and you can find those under Lyrics. I've also added the album to his discography. I wanted to let you all know that the soundtrack for The Bratz movie is coming out July 31st and you can hear the song I wrote, performed and produced with Arms called “It Doesn’t Get Better Than This” . The soundtrack also has other great songs on it by artists like Lifehouse and Black Eyed Peas. It’s actually a fun movie, so check it out when it opens in theaters August 3rd. July 28, 2007 - July updates are done. This month I've added a video that Daniel put together and Alex sent me of tour footage the band took while touring Japan in 2004. You can find that under Extras. Also in Extras I've added the rest of the art that Lu sent for my birthday. New Avatars and two new desktops. The two High Resolution pictures are from Leslie and were taken at the China Club in September of 2004. I've added some pictures from 2002 that Carrie sent me from the 02 Tour and you can find those in the Fan Gallery. July 9, 2007 -Alex and Daniel wrote and produced a new song for the motion picture "Bratz". The soundtrack will be released on Alex's label (Geffen) on July 31st. June 28, 2007 -Updates for June! This month I've added the short TV Clip from when Alex and Aaron were on American Dreams singing "Nowhere Man" by the Beatles as requested. It's only 30 seconds long, but great to see. I've added the MP3 of "Keep Your Hands to Yourself" by request as well. This is a cover of an old Georgia Sattelites song The Calling recorded for the movie "Sweet Home Alabama". You can find both of those in the Extras section along with new Desktops, Blends and High Resolution pictures. The newest desktops are from Anna and Luisa and the blends are from Luisa. She sent me lots of new artwork as a birthday gift so I'll be adding the rest next month. Thanks Lu! The HR pics are from Randy in Vegas from June of 2005 and Carrie from New Hampshire taken in July of 2002 in Ohio. April 27, 2007 -Updates are done a day early as I'm heading to NYC for the weekend. This month I've added a video clip from 6/7/04 when Alex and Chops appeared on MTV Hits. They came back the next day so I have part 1 this month and next month I will have part 2. The first set of Jess's pics from the UK have been added to the Fan Gallery and they are from a solo acoustic show Alex did at the Villiars Theatre on April 3rd. Thanks Jess for the new pics. Two new High Resolution pictures are added to the extras section and they are from Theresa of a show in Cleveland from 9/4/04.

HI From NY!
Hey everyone! The record is almost done being mixed now! Only five more songs to go! I still don’t have a release date yet, but I’m hoping to know more in the next month as my finished record begins to circulate around my record label. I wanted to let you all know about something else exciting as well. I am currently in NY doing press and performances for an upcoming movie called "The Final Season". They are premiering the movie at the Tribeca film festival here on Saturday.
It’s a really great movie and a superb writer named Mitch Allan and I wrote the end credit song. I don’t know when the movie will be released, but I’ve heard end of summer. The song should be available on iTunes when my record is released later this year. More news to come!

March 29, 2007 -Updates for March! This month I've added a video clip and an MP3. The rare video clip is from June 9, 2004 when Alex and Chops appeared on Nickelodeon's "You Pick It Live". It is the interview and a game they played on the show. The MP3 I have put up is Alex's cover of The Clash's "London Calling". You can find both of them in the EXTRA's Section. The High Resolution pictures I have are from Jess in the UK and they are from the show at Shepherd's Bush in London on July 13, 2004. Jess always took the best pictures and she is sending me all of her pictures from the UK shows and they will be added next month. Also, more fan questions answered by Alex. I appreciate the time he takes to answer these questions with how busy he is. He wanted me to let you know there will not be a week 16 Video as the recording process for the songs is done. They are now being mixed and there's not much to see there. He may post another random video at a later date if he gets any free time. He assures me things are going great and the songs are sounding amazing.

Update! From Alex
Hey everyone! I wanted to give you all an update, as my timeline has unfortunately changed a bit. Just this last week, I did the final live string sessions for the record, it was by far the most magical moment yet. Check back later today to watch it all in the 15th in-studio video! I will be doing some final tweaking this coming week on the album, and then we will be mixing everything in a couple weeks, which will take some time as well. I don't know how much you all know about the current state of the music business, but it is very, very bleak. Major labels are dropping like flies, record stores are closing left and right, and bands… talented bands, are getting let go on a daily basis. It's a sad thing to be a part of this and watch it over the last bunch of years. Needless to say, this does affect me. Every step I take to push my record to come out sooner, I have to take another step back, due to other circumstance that I have no control over. Now, with all that said, I want you all to know that my record will come out this year, it will be better than you can imagine, and my label is very much behind it. All this extra time has done nothing but let me write more incredible songs and make this record sound even better… so there is a positive! But obviously, just like all of you, I am wanting to be out there touring and sharing this album with the world. It's getting very close, but it won't be this month like I was told. Instead of specifying an actual week or month, I am just going to tell you guys once I know the actual date, when it is set in stone. I am still as excited as I've been, if not more, and I will continue to update you all on the rest of the process. All the love!!!

February 28, 2007 - February Updates! This month I decided to put up a few MP3s instead of a video clip. I've been getting a lot of requests from people for Alex's performance at Smash Hits in 2002 of WYWG so you can find that one as well as a funny little clip from Brazil of WYWG where Alex sort of forgot to sing. It's really cute and not many people have heard it so I thought I would share it with you. I also added an acoustic version of "Anything" that Alex did at Sirius Radio in April of 2004 that is one of my favorites. You can find all the MP3s under the Extra's section. I've broken out my special downloads into Video and MP3 downloads to make it easier for you to find them.
Two new High Resolution pictures can be found in the Extras section and they are from Dave in Vegas from an acoustic show Alex played there on September 30, 2004. Lu from Italy was kind enough to make me some new desktops, avatars and blends and you can find those in the Extras section as well as another desktop from Alexis in Poland. Thanks all you talented fans for sending me new stuff all the time. I really appreciate it.

January 28, 2007 -January updates :) This month's video clip is an interview Alex did in 2002 with William Shatner on the SCI-FI channel. You can find it under Extra's and then Special. I've added a new Avatar section to the Extra's section as well. There are two size avatars to choose from. Two new High Res pictures have also been added. One from Dave in Vegas from 2005 and one of the studio pics Alex sent me. I just received the newest issue of Unos~Donate Life Update magazine in the mail and there is a small article about "Wherever You WIll Go" being used at the Rose Bowl parade and there's a picture of Alex performing back in August at the Hard Rock. You can find a scan of the article in the Magazines section. Thanks Denise for scanning it for me.

It's '07! Back to Work!
Hey guys! It's a new year and I am back at work. Check out the new in-studio video that I just put up. Also, if you haven't already, sign up to be on the mailing list at www.alexband.net. The album is coming along amazingly and there's only 3 songs left to record! I start next week with a great producer named Chuck Reed to record two more songs, one of which is "Tonight". Then I will be doing the final song, "Please", with another awesome producer named Jon Fields. 2007 is going to be a crazy year for me...and I'm ready!!! All the love...
December 29, 2006 -Updates for December! This months video clip is a behind the scenes clip that aired on Ryan Seacrest over the summer of 2004. It was filmed during the making of the "Our Lives" video. You can find it in the EXTRA'S section under Special. You'll also find two new High Resolution pictures in that section and they are from my collection that Daniel sent me from the 2004 tour. These two pictures were taken during the making of the "Anything" video. A really sweet fan named Yanshu wrote to me and offered some really great wallpapers/desktops and they have been added as well. Thanks Yanshu! I've added some screencaps to the Gallery from Conan O'Brien back in 2002 (thanks Luiz) and The WB Morning show from 2004 (thanks Agnes). Also a fan question answered by Alex. Since he's been really busy and now on vacation I decided one was all we needed him to do this month :) Thanks once again Alex for always being there for us. Happy New Year everyone. There's still much work to be done on the record…next month I will be finishing up the two songs I'm currently working on with Matt Serletic, doing all the live strings for the 6 songs I recorded with Tal, recording 3 other songs with two new producers, finishing producing the song Arms and I wrote, and finally mixing everything with an amazing mixer named Jack Joseph Puig! And then of course it will be time to get a kick ass band together and get ready for the fun stuff! The first single is still due out March and the record will be released worldwide sometime around June. As always, I wanted to leave you all a special Holiday treat, so Debbie has been kind enough to put it up on her site for download: www.alexmaxband.com. It's one of my favorite songs that I wrote and produced out myself earlier this year here at my house. Unfortunately it's one of many songs that didn't make it on this record, so I thought I should share with all of you! December 4, 2006 - For those fans who are new to Alex's music, I wanted to put up the Christmas song The Calling did in 2002 called "Carol of The Bells". It's a beautiful version of the song. It was on a Holiday Compilation CD from Target. You can find it in the "Extra's" section under "Special". You can also find a live, acoustic version further down the page that Alex did in 2004.
November 28, 2006 -Updates for November! I'm really happy to be able to share with you the clip of Alex receiving his award from Donate Life back in June of 2006. It brings back a lot of great memories for me. I hope you enjoy it :) I also have a video sent to me by Shari of Alex performing WYWG at the Donate Life show at the Hard Rock in August of 2006. September 28, 2006 -Updates for September! Things have been pretty busy for September so I hope you will scroll down below and catch up on all the new stuff added since last month's updates. Lots of great pictures from in the studio and the concert in August. The most recent updates done today include 2 new High Resolution pictures from Smash Hits in 2002. Thank you Agnes for those.
I have also created a new section to my site. Under Info you will find a section dedicated to Donate Life so be sure to check it out. I will be adding new info there all the time so be sure to re-visit it. I have a few video clips for you this month. Two short clips from the Donate Life show back in August from Chelle. One is of "Our Lives" and the other is of "Please". You can find them in the Extras section under downloads. For the rare TV clip I have Second Cup Cafe that aired on CBS back in June of 2004. You may have seen "Our Lives" from this show online, but I have the actual tape from the studio so there is much more to see! I was there for that amazing performance and everyone on staff there told me how impressed they were with Alex. It's a long clip so Part 1 is up for this month and includes several little song clips played between segments on the show, the Interview with Alex and the performance of Our Lives. Agnes also made some beautiful screencaps of the show and you can find those in the Gallery. I've added a few more fan pictures from the show in LA on 8/31/06 from Shari who won the Jeans Alex donated. You can also see a picture of her with her prize.

Hey everyone! It's been a blast so far in the studio as you can see from the first two videos. I can't believe I'm actually making my record! The guy you keep seeing in the videos is Tal Herzberg and we're producing a bunch of tracks together. He's worked along side of Ron Fair for years now and is stepping out on his own to produce my record. Shortly, I'll be starting to record a bunch of tracks with Matt Serletic producing and then finally Ron Fair himself. The three of them are unique in what they do and how they approach their selected songs, so it will make for a very diverse and interesting final product. There is lots more to come and very soon I will have my in-studio site, alexband.net, up and running for all of you non-Myspace users to view my videos and pictures of the recording process. I'm going to keep documenting the entire process of course and share with you all the details of my journey. So stay tuned! All the love...

August 28, 2006 -Updates for August are done. Of course, the most exciting news is that Alex is finally in the Studio recording his record. His album will be coming out under the Geffen label now that Ron Fair is heading that up. This month's updates include two new drawings from Nici and Liz and two new High Resolution pictures that Agnes shared from Germany in 2004 in the extra's section.
The video download this month is a really great one and VERY rare. It is from a show that aired in NYC in June of 2004 called The WB Morning Show. It was only seen in a very limited area and I'm happy to be able to share it with you with the help of Agnes ;) You can also find that in the extra's section. I've updated the facts page with some new info on Alex getting his pilot's license and yet another new car. In the Fan Gallery I have added some pictures from Randy in Las Vegas of the show there in June of 2005.
From Alex I have some great pictures he sent me of his new Ferrari. It's a 2006 F430 and, of course, it's red. He also answered some more questions and you can find those in the questions and answers section. Thanks always Alex for all you do for us.

I love reading all your comments about the two new demos I put up:) It's been a very long time coming, and lots of political battles have been waged, but I am finally starting to record my record next month! An amazing producer named Matt Serletic will be producing some of the songs and a few other producers will be doing the rest. Matt is most well known for doing Matchbox 20, Rob Thomas, and Collective Soul, to name a few. I can't even begin to express to you all how frikkin happy I am that I'm finally going to make my record! Expect a release date of Spring next year. Touring around the world and seeing you all feels like a part of my life and soul that has been missing for some time now, but I'm getting it back! I'll check in soon:) All the love...

I also have a new gallery from Denise at Donate Life of her pictures from the event in Boston last month. In honor of the two new songs Alex has on myspace Agnes created two new desktops for me and you can find those in Extras. Two new High Resolution pictures can also be found in the Extra's section. June 15, 2006 -I've been working on creating an Alex Band sticker and have finally come up with one I am happy with :) I designed it and Nature created it for me with photoshop because I'm not so good at that ;) They are a bit smaller than The Calling ones were but they are really good vinyl ones and I have mine on my car window already. The size is 4.24 inches x 1.38 inches. This seems to be a standard for stickers. I am now selling them with all profits to go to Donate Life. I've looked around different sites and the going rates for stickers are $3 or $4. I will be selling them for $3.00 each or two stickers for $5. Please include the cost of mailing it with your order. If you live in the US it would be .39 cents and if you live outside the country it is .84 cents. If you order more than a single sticker the postage does not change. June 8, 2006 - A Message from Alex! I'm still hoping for a little video clip from Alex but here is a message he posted on the Loft today.
Thank you all for the sweeeeet messages and E-mails and that fantastic Birthday Book that Mom put together! I feel so much love it makes me want to cry! All I can say is that I am still patiently waiting for my label to get their sh*t together, let me finish my record and put it out already! I'm going craaaaazy! I bought a new house not far from my old one and we're moving in today, so that's my insane present to myself. Other than a whole lotta lifting and fixing and placing and putting, my birthday is pretty chill today...gonna go to dinner with Jen and some of my friends and then back to the music. I'll be checking in really soon on alexband.net with an update finally, so keep your eyes out. June 8, 2006 -HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEX!
The Charity Birthday Book was once again a great success. Many fans from all over the world participated and Alex was truly moved to read so many great birthday messages. He read each and every message and told me it is the best gift he could ever receive. We had fans from the US, Canada, France, Italy, England, Germany, Tawain, Belgium, Sweden, Poland, Philipines and Australia. A total of $1688.00 was raised and a check has been sent to Donate Life in Alex's name. That brings our total raised over the years in Alex's name to over $10,000! If you factor in the auctions and the radio station contest it puts us at almost $20,000 raised! Pretty impressive. Alex is working on a message to all the fans who donated so check back here for the link in a few days. You can see pictures of this year's book in My Live Gallery under 2005/2006 birthday books.

Not much to add in the gallery section. I did make a new gallery of all the auction items donated so far along with pictures of the winners with their winning items. It's a picture taken in March by a producer he was working with on the new CD. Also, Agnes has made some screencaps from Alex hosting TRL and they can be found in the screencaps section. April 29, 2006 -Updates are ready for April! The rare TV clip for this month is the first installment of Alex hosting TRL back on 2/5/2002. Since it is a longer clip, Agnes and I are splitting it up between our sites. Part 1 is now ready for download in the Extra's section of my site and Agnes will have Part 2 on her site in a few weeks. I'm not sure how many parts there will be but we are trying to keep each part in 5 minute clips to make it easier to download. Alex did a great job hosting that show considering all the screaming girls, the MTV people talking into his ear and trying to keep the show moving along! Not an easy job for anyone.
The Gallery section has a few new galleries this month. The rare photos section has a new gallery of pictures a fan sent me from Korea back in September of 2004. I haven't seen some of these pictures before and there are some great ones there. The new Ferrari Gallery has two new pictures and those same two pictures are in the Alex Gallery. Under Fan Pictures, I've added Leslie's gallery from Alex's appearance on The Tony Danza show in September of 2004. The two new HR pictures are from the Ferrari Gallery and give you a much better view of the Alex Exhibit there. If anyone ever has a request for a High Resolution picture, please let me know and I'll do my best to accomodate you.

April 20, 2006 - Alex featured in Galleria Ferrari of Maranello in Italy for the "Music and Cars on Stage" Exhibit. The following information was taken from their Press Release. Thank you to Claudia from Ferrari in Italy for sharing the information and the pictures. She had been in touch with me to request pictures and other information and very kindly has kept me updated. You can find the pictures in the Rare Photos section of my Gallery.
"After the great success of the exhibition dedicated to Ferrari and cinema, from April 15th to June 30th, the Galleria Ferrari of Maranello will host a new and original thematic exhibition, which associates Ferrari cars and myth to music.
Several singers and performers from all over the world who got found of the Prancing Horse's car races since its origins, and loved the style of the cars, have expressed this admiration in their songs and video clips. With three expositive rooms entirely dedicated to this event, the Galleria Ferrari pays homage to the 60-years long link between Ferrari and artists who left their mark on the history of music.
More than thirty representatives of the international musical scene accepted the invitation to the event: Italian singer and song-writers as well as world-known artists who represent the history of the most important musical genres: classical, opera, jazz, rock and pop music.
The Galleria Ferrari of Maranello, located near the factory and the Fiorano track, is open every day, holidays included, from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (all-day opening). The visiting hours will be postponed until 7 p.m. starting from of May First on to the summer season.

April 10, 2006 -The Auction for the Gold Record ended today and raised another $500 for Donate Life. Great news and thanks to everyone who placed a bid.
March 29, 2006 -Updates are done for March! I have put up another rare TV clip and this month it is from Alex's performance on TRL of WYWG from December 14, 2001. It's a great performance and Agnes has added the interview portion of the show to her site, http://www.myfavedrug.de/. Check them both out, they are great additions! She is also working on screencaps, which you will be added later this week on both of our sites. In the gallery this month are 20 more pictures from Daniel, sadly the last 20 that I have, but all good things must come to an end. I've added another group of pictures from Leslie's gallery that were taken at the China Club in NYC in September of 2004, one of my favorite live shows I've attended. Two new high resolution pictures are from Anika in Berlin and are from the concert there on October 26, 2004.
Also, 5 more great pictures from Alex taken in Florida, Italy and Hawaii. And of course, more questions answered by Alex. Alex is working with various writers and producers and getting closer to that elusive finished record moment. March 13, 2006 - More Good News! Alex won the Celebrity Call in Contest in Richmond, VA which means another $1,500 to Donate Life. They replayed the part of his interview that talked about organ donation this morning and announced him as their winner. They were really thrilled that Alex phoned in.
March 11, 2006 -Alex's jacket auction ended today with an amazing finish! The final winning bid was $6,100!!! I spoke to the fan who won the jacket and she's extremely excited and has promised to send me a picture of her modeling her new jacket once it arrives! March 10, 2006 -Alex phoned into a radio station in Virginia (Mix 103-7) this morning at the request of Denise from Donate Life. They are holding a contest to see who can get a famous person to call in and if Alex wins they will donate $1,500 to Donate Life in Alex's name. You can listen to the interview here. February 1, 2006 - A Message from DonateLife - As I am sure many of you are aware, organ and tissue donation is a subject close to Alex's heart. Media Blvd., an entertainment portal comprising of several hundred message boards and web sites for actors, musicians, television shows and films is working in conjunction with the Coalition on Donation (Donate Life) to promote awareness of organ and tissue donation.
In a concerted effort to educate people and further this worthy cause, Media Blvd and the Coalition on Donation are launching a campaign to highlight the issues surrounding organ and tissue donation. As part of this campaign, there will be a wide range of exciting activities - including contests and online auctions. The culmination of activities will be Donate Life Month, which takes place during April.
One of the many exciting items that will be auctioned is a signed leather jacket of Alex's. This is the jacket the Alex wore in the "Wherever You will Go" video. It is also very special because one of Alex's fan's donated this jacket to the Coalition on Donation. Her name is Kristi, and is a very special lady. January 29, 2006 - I am excited to announce a new partnership with Agnes from http://www.myfavedrug.de/ I managed to convert all of my VHS tapes to DVD and Agnes, being the computer genius that she is, will be helping me make them available to the fans online. We will take turns hosting different "Rare" TV footage. I won't be putting up the things that you can easily find on many different Calling sites, but rather, we will be putting up clips that have never been posted online. There will even be some that have never been seen as they were either televised only in New York or they are footage sent to me by the TV Station. The first one is from The Calling's first performance on Leno in January of 2002. This is one of my favorite interviews with Alex, his excitement is just contagious and you can see how happy he is to be there. Agnes also made us both some great screencaps from that interview, which you can find in my Gallery under Screencaps. I am only putting up the interview portion because you can find the performance on many Calling websites, such as http://www.angelfire.com/magic/thecalling/downloads.html . It will be a little something fun to keep us all busy while we wait for Alex's new music. In the coming weeks be looking for "Mall Star Countdown" from 2001, TC's National Television Debut on Regis in December of 2001 and Alex hosting TRL in 2002. Agnes and I will take turns hosting them so be sure to check both sites.
My other updates for this month include 20 more pictures from my collection from Daniel. A new gallery from Leslie of the show in Temecula from June of 2005 under Fan Gallery, and some pictures from 2002 of Alex and Jen from the Amerian Idol Finale in the Rare Photos section. I was feeling rather nostalgic so the pictures are from the early touring days in 2002 and were taken by Karin from www.dreamsofmyheart.com in June of 2002 in NYC.

January 26, 2006 -The Calendar Sale is complete. Once again we had a very successful year and I'm pleased to announce that a check for $1,888.00 has been sent to DonateLife in Alex's name. This brings the total money raised in Alex's name from the past four years to $8,641.00. Of this total $5,084.00 has been sent to DonateLife over the last 2 years. Thank you to everyone who donated pictures, bought a calendar and made donations over the years. It's a great total and you should all be very proud. Keep an eye out for some special things happening with DonateLife in the next few months. I received the following email from DonateLife. That is $800 more than last year. Thank you so much to everyone who donated pictures, bought the calendar and many of you that even sent extra donations to go to DonateLife.
A special thank you to Karin for designing the calendar and to Josie from the UK, Agnes from Germany, Karima from France and Paula and Anna from Australia for helping people in other countries sort out the money. You guys were a huge help and it is very much appreciated.
I’m really excited that so much was raised during this relatively quiet period. The total sent to Donate Life over the past year for the last two calendar sales and Alex’s birthday project is $5,084.00 and our complete total from all charities over the past 4 years is $8,641.00. January 20, 2006 - "Our Lives" will be featured in the promotions for this year's Academy Awards. The official site for the academy awards has a clip of the trailer for the highlights featuring "Our Lives". Here is what they write about it on the opening page.

December 29, 2005 - Alex has made my site the "Official Alex Band Fan Site". I'm really honored to be his official fan site and I'll do my best to keep you guys informed and updated.
December 28, 2005 - December updates are completed. Again, not a whole lot going on but still some great stuff to share. Aside from the new song I already told you about, I have added 20 new pictures from the disc Daniel sent me to the Daniel Gallery. Under Fan Pictures there is a new gallery from Dave in Vegas from the show back in June. I've put up two more High Resolution pictures in the Extras section that were taken in Vegas back in June by Randy and one of my pics from Temecula back in June. A fan from Malaysia named Pei Ru sent a beautiful sketch she did of Alex and it is the "Drawings" section. Inspired by the new song there are two new desktops and banners added to the extra's section designed by Agnes and myself using pictures I took in Vegas. Check out the facts page for some new and interesting things Alex has been up to lately. And last but not least, more fan questions answered by Alex.
December 16, 2005 - HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM ALEX! We have a new Holiday Gift from Alex. It's a new song called "Last Goodbye". I remember Alex playing it for me when I saw him back in June in LA and I loved it then. I'm so glad he was able to share it with us. November 28, 2005 - November updates are completed. Even though there is not too much going on, I do have some updates for everyone. I've added a few new galleries. Under Rare Photos, you will find a new gallery of pictures from Jethro. There are 3 pictures he sent me from Vegas in June. I'm hoping to be able to add some cool rare photos to that section in the coming months. Also 20 new pictures have been added to the Daniel Gallery. Under Fan Pictures there is a new gallery from Dottie in Germany of two of the shows there in 2004. There are also some great new blends (Thanks Nature & Agnes) and desktops (Thanks Agnes) in the Extras section so check those out. I've put up two more High Resolution pictures in the Extras section that were taken at Shepherd's Bush back in July.
I've added a couple of new MP3s to the Extra's Section. The acoustic version of "One" by U2 continues to be my favorite cover of all times so I've added the MP3 there. If you haven't heard it, make sure you download it, it's really great. Also, since the Holiday season is upon us, I've added the Live Acoustic version of "Carol of The Bells" that was done in December of last year.

He will once again be working with Ron Fair, who was there when it all started back on Camino Palmero. I couldn't be happier or more excited for Alex. October 28, 2005 - Happy Birthday to AlexMaxBand.com! Even though it's our birthday, you guys get the presents! The biggest surprise I have for you this month is a NEW song from Alex. It is not a song that will be on the album. It is a really cool, fun song written for one of Alex's dad's movies called "Doll Graveyard". The name of the song is "The Truth" and it was written by Alex along with Justin Derrico and Corey Britz. They also play guitar and bass on the song and Alex produced it. I really love the song and it's so great to hear anything new from Alex so I hope you all enjoy it. Alex even supplied me with the lyrics because we knew you guys would all start making up your own ;) Also, since this was a gift from Alex for my site's first birthday I ask that it be left on my site as an exclusive. Thanks!
The second download I have is a really cute little clip of Alex backstage in Europe filmed by Daniel and sent to me. I got permission from both Daniel and Alex to share it.
Both of these downloads can be found in the section "Extras" under "Special".
I've also changed the look of my site since it is one year old today :) I decided to use my own personal pictures from Temecula and one of my own autographs to make the site more personal and to prevent people from copying the pictures used for the design. Thanks Karin for my new look and thanks Michael for all your work. You guys are the best :)
Karin and her brother also made me a smaller version of the site so now all you people with different resolutions can click on the smaller one if you need to. It should be ready in the next few days. I hope that helps with the navigating.
I also have all my regular updates for the month. More of Daniel's pictures can be found in the Rare Photos section. I also added two new fan galleries. One from Monikita, Pedro and Helene from Portugal and one of Ashley's recent pics in Dallas, Tx. September 28, 2005 - Updates for September are done. Alex is working away getting all the songs down for the new album. He hopes to be in the studio at the end of next month. He's also joining his dad for a few shows in October in Texas so scroll down for a link to his dad's site for all the details. Updates for this month include the last slideshow from the DVD Daniel sent me. It's actually slideshow Part 6. I also added 20 more pictures to the Rare Photo's section under Daniel's pics. Alex (and Fuzzbee Morse) gave me the lyrics for "Take Hold of Me" and they are added to the Lyrics in the Info section. 2 new High Resolution pictures thanks to Theresa from the show in Cleveland last year. A cute new desktop of Alex and Jen made by Agnes and I. I've added a new article recently published about Alex and his dad. Added a new link of a great website with some great downloads called "Whatever You Want". Also more questions answered by the very sweet and kind Alex Band.

September 15, 2005 - From Las Vegas on June 3rd, you can download a 3 minute clip of Alex singing Stigmatized. The sound quality is not the best, but at least when Alex gets to the extra verse it clears up a bit. No matter, it's great to see something new of Alex :) Thanks to Shoon for recording it and sending it to me and to Agnes for editing it for me. It is under the Extra's Section - Special. Also you can find a really cute new wallpaper/desktop of Alex and Jen made for me by Agnes with a picture I sent her from Daniel's collection and one of Alex's quotes on it. That is also in the Extra's section.

August 28, 2005 -Updates for August! Even though things seem quiet right now with Alex, trust me he is insanely busy and will have news for everyone soon! He's finishing up writing for his new record with a bunch of great artists and is also wrting for a girl on a major label, as well as writing for some big movies!
This month we have a new section under Info called "All The Songs". I compiled a list of all the songs Alex has recorded or performed live and put it in this section. Since people are always asking I figured it would be a good addition to my site. It includes covers, demos, soundtracks, you name it.
New pictures in the Rare Photos section from Agnes. Two new galleries in the "Fan Section" from Bee, one from Holland in October and one from Milan in October. 20 more pictures have been added to the gallery of photos from Daniel and the band. Some great new wallpapers/desktops in the Extra section and a new drawing from Gennelin. Two new High Resolution pics from the collection Daniel sent me of the 2004 tour.
I uploaded slideshow 5 again because when I was watching it again I realized we cut it off too soon and there was still about a minute and a half left on it. Make sure you download it again cause there are some cute pics of Alex and Jen driving a four wheeler. I put up slideshow 7 because it is a short one and I will put #6 up next month. In case you missed it there is a 2 minute video clip from Temecula filmed by Shoon back on June 4th of Alex covering U2's With or Without You.

June 8, 2005 - First of all ~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEX!!!
Well since Alex announced it at the show Friday night, it's no longer a secret....Alex has decided to go Solo. I'm really happy and excited for this next chapter of his career. I've always felt Alex has been pretty much solo this past year anyway and this will give him the freedom and security he needs to get on with his career. He will be posting a letter on The Loft Monday morning giving all the details and will also be answering questions that he knows you guys will all have. I just wanted to post this to let you all know what is going on. I'm not sure how much more I can say about it , so that's it :) I know he hopes to someday go back to being The Calling, but for now this is the best career move for him. GOOD LUCK Alex, you know you have my support 110% always. It's gonna be fun!

I also got to spend some time with Alex on Monday while I was in LA. He played me his solo demo cd and every song on there was simply amazing. Lyrically, musically, everything about it was so good. I'm really excited for the release of this album and I have no doubt that Alex will do great things.
2006 Charity Calendar. Once again Karin and I have put together a calendar to raise money for Alex's favorite charity. Last year the Calendar raised over $1,000 for DonateLife. I'm hoping this year will be even more successful. Click CALENDAR INFO for details.

May 18, 2005 - New Message from Alex - Hey guys:) I know things have been pretty quiet from me, since I’ve been busy creating new music and other great stuff…so, I thought I’d dig through my past and give you all a treat while you wait! Well, a few treats, to be exact. The first one that you’re getting now is the very first music video I ever did for a song called “Dormant Prayer”. My friend Jethro and I wrote the song and recorded the video ourselves over 10 years ago! Our duo group was called “Maybe Solitude”. This thing is soooo funny!!! I’m about 12 years old in it, but totally acting it up like I would now. I’m so glad Jethro dug this video up for us all; it’s really an important piece of my history. Now remember, I was only 12, and this song and video is about being an inmate on death row, on the way to being executed! What was going on in my tiny little brain?! I don’t know. I guess its still pretty tiny…Uh, anyway, I hope you all enjoy it! There will be more treats on the way to keep you busy like me! The band and I are really looking forward to these two shows in June. I’ve taken all your requests for a set list in consideration and it will definitely end up being a loooong show! Hey, and I get to write a tour diary…granted it will only be for two days. May 16, 2005 -Alex sent me some cute pictures from Florida today. They are in the Gallery under Alex - 2005 General pictures. The fans were asking for a picture of Alex's new haircut and he's a good sport so he is playing along. One is a before picture and one is an after picture. Check them out :)
May 15, 2005 -I've had several requests for the other song that Alex wrote called "Take Hold of Me" for the film "Fish Without a Bicycle". Even though it is not an exclusive to this site, I added the MP3 to the extras section so all Alex's fans can enjoy the song.
April 28, 2005 - Updates for April! 1. I added 3 great new desktops/wallpapers. The first two are pictures from Smash Hits that I just love and the last one is from a picture Shaina sent me for the 2004 calendar. It was taken in Panama and it's one of my favorite pictures.
I've added all the pictures Shaina sent me to my rare photos section. The pictures the band have sent me will be the only pictures I will tag from now on for my site since these are exclusives. I don't see the point in tagging pictures anymore that are on all the celebrity photo sites, it's not like I took them or they were give to me as exclusives. I have also added Sacha's pics that he sent me. Next month I will begin on the pictures that Daniel sent me of the 2004 tour. A lot of those you will see during the slide shows, but I'll have some nice good quality versions that I'll be slowly adding, there are hundreds so it will keep us busy for awhile ;)
The next slideshow from the DVD Daniel sent me has been added to Extras - Special. This one comes with a warning though, lol. I cried when I watched this for the first time. Granted it was right after I found out there would be no more touring for TWO and I already felt bad. But this song by the Beatles is one of my all time favorite songs and it's just so bittersweet to watch it with all these great pictures Daniel put together.
I added some great pictures Agnes sent me from Smash Hits and they are in the Alex Gallery. And also 40 of the pictures from Friday night's Race to Erase MS event that Alex and Jen attended. Thanks again Agnes for sharing!
I've started the High Resolution Picture section of my site. In this section I will add just a few pictures every month in really great quality. This section is under Extras. I've started out with my favorite picture from the Korea Tour Book and also added the Evil Easter Bunny picture that Alex sent me. I had to resize it back then for the Loft, but you need to see it in it's full size to really appreciate it ;) If you have a special request for a high resolution picture and it's one that I own or have permission to post, let me know and I'll consider your request for future updates.

I asked Alex for lyrics for Dreaming In Red because I know you were all curious about them and this is what he said "The Dreaming In Red demo has no words, they are made up insanity that I don't even know....so you're interpretation of them is as good as mine!". So I guess we will just move on to the Generation Gap Demo lyrics which I am working on now. The first song has been added "Stolen Youth"

April 12, 2005 - New Message From Alex posted on The Loft!
Hello all Calling fans!!! Although things have seemed quiet from me, there is A LOT in the works and I have been crazy busy! I’ve been working on amazing new music, doing performances on TV shows that will soon be aired, modeling for top magazines, and acting, yes acting! I also have some good news for US fans! The Calling will be doing two shows in the beginning of June!!! One in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Silverton Casino on June 3rd, and another at the Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival in Temecula, California on June 4th. The band and I are extremely excited to play and hope Calling fans from all over the country will try to make it to these shows! We will be playing all the favorites of course, but I would like to make this extra special by having all the fans of The Loft vote on what songs we should play, so you all hear exactly what you want! Happy Easter guys! I just wanted to pop in and share some funny pictures from this morning when I tried to put bunny ears on my cat...he didn't like them very much! And then I tried them on myself and I became the "evil bunny", tearing open my presents with my bunny teeth! Anyway, now that you all think I'm insane, I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Easter and tell you there's real good stuff in the works right now. I know it seems like nothing is going on right now for The Calling globally, but just know that some amazing music is being made and there will be great surprises just around the corner! Until then...All the love:)
March 25, 2005 - Updates - From the DVD Daniel sent me I have put up the first slideshow Daniel put together. It's pictures from the band as well as pictures Daniel found from all the fans set to the song "Wild Horses". Lots of great memories so I hope you enjoy it. It is located in a new section under "Extras" called "Special". I will be putting all exclusive downloads there. Remember...Please leave them on my site.
Also, Thanks to Agnes from Germany, we have a new Gallery section of Rare Photos. She has been kind enough to share some great rare pictures with me and has agreed to allow me to put them up on the site. Just go to Gallery and you will find the "Rare Photo" section there. Alex is working on the questions for this month right now and I should be able to update them shortly, so please check back.
March 11, 2005 - Another Exclusive for the fans. This time it is from Daniel. He and Sacha shot some great footage in Europe last year and Daniel sent me a DVD with lots of great stuff on it. I am making one of the videos available to you, but please don't put it on any other sites. You can post about the video and give a link to my site, but I would like it to stay an exclusive here. ENJOY! "European Video" (make sure you right click and select "save target as"). I'm sure it will bring back lots of great memories for many people. I will figure out what else can be shared from the DVD and keep you updated.
February 20, 2005 - Alex has answered the next set of questions for his site and they are posted in the Q & A section. He's been really busy these past weeks with two big acting auditions and did a 10 page photo shoot for Vogue, modeling Polo, which he claims was "very weird, but fun!" It should run in June. Stay tuned for more updates from Alex.

Happy Valentine’s Day Everyone!!! Sorry I haven’t been in here to give you an update lately, but things have been crazy and I have been extremely busy writing some awesome new music! This record is winding down now and we have all done a great job and worked really hard on it, so a big thank you to everyone! I’m sorry to say that there will be no more touring on this record as of now:( I am mostly sorry to our American fans who never really got a proper chance to see me perform here in the states with the whole band…But don’t fret! I will be out again soon enough with new material! I’ll keep you all posted on what is happening in the weeks to come. I mostly just wanted to say Happy Valentine’s Day and thank you, thank you, thank you, for all your continued support, hard work and love…I will never stop making music for you all as long as you still want it! You guys are the best. All the love…
Not great news for all of us who were looking forward to a tour soon. I'm sure there will be more news to report so stay tuned.
February 13, 2005 - Hope you like the new layout for the site. Karin inspired me with her new layout at www.dreamsofmyheart.com so I thought I would continue on with some other Korean Promo Pics. Thanks for the new look Karin. Still waiting for Alex to answer this month's questions, so please check back.
For February we now have "official" lyrics on Alex's site. The only lyrics you will find posted from now on are from the album or ones that Alex has personally posted or given to me. He gave me all 3 Next Door Demo songs this month. Feel free to update your sites, because I don't think even one of us had all the right lyrics to When It All Falls Down, lol. I just really hate wrong lyrics so I'm glad Alex agreed to share them. I know you all really want the "Dreaming In Red" Demo lyrics so I will make that my mission for March and then I'm going to go back and get all the old ones.
I also added a new album of photos from Dave in Las Vegas from the show TC did there back in September. They are great pics and you can find all 49 of them under Fan Pictures. Dave is starting a new online news site called beneathmag.com. Make sure you check it out once it is up and running.
I added 6 pics of Alex and Jen from the pre-grammy party the other night. Not the best quality but it's the best I could do for now. I'll work on getting some better pictures.

January 18, 2005 - I just realized I never updated the site with the final Calendar Sales Total. A total of 210 calendars were sold and I have sent a check to DonateLife in Alex's name for $1,108.00. Thank you to everyone who participated. Here is a message Alex posted on the Loft - "Thank you everyone! And especially Calling Mom! January 12, 2005 - We have added a Tour Diary section under INFO. Karin designed it for me as a Christmas present. Thanks Karin. Each tour diary is broken out by date with a picture from a show in that date range. Make sure you check them out if you missed any, they are always entertaining!

December 24, 2004 - A Holiday Gift for you! Alex sent me the most wonderful gift and he said I could share it if I want ……So here is my one and only download. It's the song Alex wrote for Jennifer called "Hold On To You" (make sure you right click and select "save target as") and it's the very original version that Alex says "was recorded live at my house over 3 years ago on a little shitty 4 track tape recorder with a built in mic. I was able to play and sing the song through once, add a guitar solo, put some little back up vocal, and that was about it!"
He also shared this sweet story about how the song came to be. "After a year of dating in 2001, a few days before I played on TRL and did Regis for the first time, I broke up with Jennifer, cause it was just too damn hard to do my job and have a girlfriend. I was a mess and I regretted it like crazy for weeks afterwards, cause I knew she was the one for me...so I won her back by writing this song, flying to Florida, finding her and performing it for her in the middle of some mini mall, and telling her I loved her for the first time. Yah, it worked;)"
Thank you so much Alex for sharing the song with me and the beautiful story about how it came about.

December 20, 2004 - Good Morning America. The Calling will be on GMA Wednesday, December 29th. The shows airs on ABC from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Make sure you watch. Their performance on Letterman was AMAZING!
December 16, 2004 - DAVID LETTERMAN! The Calling will be on Letterman next Tuesday, December 21st on CBS. Make sure you tune in for what is always a great live performance.
My Live Gallery has been updated with great pics I took in Massachusetts on Monday, December 13th. It was another amazing acoustic show and really fun time!
November 28, 2004 - We changed things so that all info boxes are now on the left side of the page for those of you with different screen resolutions. Also made the type larger for some people who were having a hard time reading them.
Added a new section under "Extras" for Magazine Scans that allows them to open in a seperate window since they don't always fit well in Gallery.
Added a new section under "Info" for Song Meanings. These were alot of work and took alot of research and transcribing of various interviews so I would appreciate it if they would stay on my site.
Added tons of screencaps and there are more to come so stay tuned. Thanks Vicky and Evelyn for those.
Updated the timeline and tour dates.
Finally got the Fan Gallery up and running. If you have a picture with Alex you'd like put in there just send it my way. If you've sent me a picture for the Loft I've also added it to my site, hope you don't mind. Also added Jenni's pictures from Glasgow that she kindly donated to the site. They are great pictures! Also added some new shots to the 2004 Gallery.
Last but not least, Alex has answered 4 more questions for my site. Very kind of him to take the time to do that so make sure you check them out. Also, don't forget to sign my guestbook. Thank you Alex for signing it :)

November 1, 2004 - Site Opens. I hope you enjoy my new site dedicated to the other half of The Calling. Since Aaron info is hard to come by, I have been searching for a way to keep my Aaron site but still be able to have an outlet for all the new pictures and information on The Calling. Karin and I came up with this idea and it seems to solve all those issues. Thank you so much to Karin and Mike for all their work on this site. It looks beautiful thanks to Karin's extraordinary flair for design. Thanks to Amber for the blends and Vicky for the "Anything" screencaps and also thanks to all the fans for visiting. If you would like to make anything to add to the site, please let me know. I can always use desktops, icons, fan art and screencaps.
